Tineke Cantaert, immunologist and group leader at the Institut Pasteur in Cambodia, received another prize to foster the early stages of her career: she is the winner of the Early Career Research Prize in Vaccinology R&D (10,000USD) awarded by the IUIS (International Union of Immunological Societies) together with Vaccines Europe.
Last year, she has been selected for the International Research Scholars Program 2017 sponsored by HHMI, the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, the Wellcome Trust, and the Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation.
Tineke leads a G4 group (4-year research groups led by young scientists within the Institut Pasteur International Network) at the Institut Pasteur in Cambodia where her team studies the adaptive immune responses during flavivirus infection, such as Dengue virus or Zika virus.
