The Annual Scientific Meeting of the Institut Pasteur International Network will open in few days on Monday 22nd of November 2010 at the Cheung Kung Hai Lecture Theatre 4, Li Ka Shing Faculty of Medicine, The University of Hong Kong. The Symposium this year will also mark the 10th anniversary of the establishment of HKU-Pasteur Research Centre. This annual meeting is the most important scientific event of the Pasteur Network and is open to all the scientific community.
This 2-day conference will start with a Keynote lecture by Professor Françoise Barre-Sinoussi, Nobel Laureate in 2008 for the discovery of the Human Immunodeficiency Virus. The full program can be viewed at http://www.pasteur-network-meeting.org/.

Vaccine Preventable Diseases
Neglected Diseases
Networking to Improve Health
The final session has been organized in conjunction with the Centre for the Humanities and Medicine of HKU on the "Nature of Altruism".
