Croucher Summer Course 2016: Advances in Immunology in Health and Disease (16-20 August 2016)

Organizer: Department of Medicine, The University of Hong Kong Sponsor: The Croucher Foundation COURSE INFORMATION The Croucher Summer Course in 2016 focuses on the theme of Advances in Immunology in Health and Disease. This 5-day residential course aims for talented postgraduate students, postdoctoral fellows and early career researchers to deepen the fundamental knowledge in immunology and to understand the immunological aspects of major diseases. This course is limited to a maximum of 35 participants who will have the opportunities to learn and interact with world-renowned international scientists and local scientists through seminars and interactive discussion sessions.

Course Director: Professor Chak Sing Lau, HKU Course Co-Director: Professor Tak Wah Mak, University of Toronto Confirmed International lecturers: Profs Fred Alt, Yong-Jun Liu (USA), Tak Mak (Canada), Jeffrey Pollard (UK), Mikael Karlsson (Sweden), Marc Pelligrini (Australia) and Chen Dong (China) Local lecturers: Profs Zhiwei Chen, Chak Sing Lau, Liwei Lu, Vera SF Chan, & Chun Kwok Wong (CUHK) Language: All events are conducted in English.
