-Infectious Diseases of the Nervous System: Pathogenesis and Worldwide Impact, September 10-13, 2008, Institut Pasteur Paris - The conference took place in Institut Pasteur Paris in September 10-13, 2008 and dealt with most major neurotropic parasites, bacteria and viruses causing devastating diseases of the nervous system. It was extremely well attended with almost 200 registered participants and 18 travel fellowships were awarded. The discussions were always animated and stimulating. There were also talks of repeating this conference every 2 years.
