The HKU – Pasteur Research Pole had been pleased to host The French International School (FIS) of Hong Kong this week. About 20 students and 3 teachers have made the trip for this occasion, on the 6th of May.
The goal of this two hours visit was to, first, give an overview of the organization and mission of the HKU-Pasteur Research Pole and the Institut Pasteur International Network, and second, to visit the laboratory with a demonstration of different techniques which are used in the lab (western blot, cell culture, DNA extraction, …).
Thanks to the curiosity and the interest of the students and the passionate team of the lab, this visit had been a success.
A second group from the FIS will visit the pole on the 20th of May, 2015.
