- 1 min read
The focus of the 2012 course will be on CELL DIVISION and CANCER BIOLOGY. Cancer will continue to be a dominant challenge to the community as a cause of morbidity and mortality. This situation will be no longer restricted to Western countries in the near future, as the improvement of health conditions in resource-poor countries will result in an increasing incidence of cancer in these regions. Furthermore, there is a prevalence of certain cancers, such as hepatocellular and nasopharyngeal carcinomas in Hong Kong and China, both of which are related to viral infections.
NEW DEADLINE FOR APPLICATIONS: 3 February 2012
There is no registration fee and course and travel application forms can be downloaded here.
