Advancing AI-Driven Research Collaboration

As part of efforts to establish a collaboration with the Shenzhen International Graduate School of Tsinghua University and the NYU Shangai, a meeting was organized at the School of Biological Sciences, with the following participants:

The meeting focused on strategies for integrating artificial intelligence into responses to calls for proposals issued by HKU and other international organizations. In particular, discussions addressed the ASEAN Committee on Science, Technology and Innovation (COSTI) call for project proposals under the ASEAN Science, Technology and Innovation Fund (ASTIF) 2026, which provides a total budget of USD 1.2 million to support collaborative research and innovation in artificial intelligence.
