Dr Françoise Barré-Sinoussi, Nobel Laureate in Physiology or Medicine in 2008 has accepted to become honorary president of the International Network of Pasteur Institutes. This nomination is a source of great honour for Institut Pasteur and the 32 institutes constituting its unique network in the world. With her appointment, Dr Françoise Barré-Sinoussi contributes and supports our worldwide activities by developing new collaborative partnerships.
Dr Françoise Barré-Sinoussi has visited Instiut Pasteur in Tunis on February 18-19. She will be soon in Cambodia and in Shanghai for the 2010 World Expo on the French National Day (July 14) and also early October. She has accepted to give a keynote lecture during the 43rd meeting of the Board of Directors of the International Network of Pasteur Institutes scheduled in November in Hong Kong.
