The 14th of December HKU-Pasteur had its annual Christmas party, thanks to the Pasteur Foundation Asia and its Chairman, Leo Kung. All HKU-Pasteur staff and guests had a wonderful time celebrating the coming holidays.
HKU-Pasteur had a memorable year, from the signing by the Institut Pasteur and HKU of a long-term partnership agreement for the HKU-Pasteur Research Pole, to a remarkable success with external grants (7 total, out of 11 applications) and publications, until the news received the very same day of a Croucher Foundation award for a new Croucher Summer Course (link to the news). Roberto Bruzzone, Co-Director of HKU-Pasteur, Leo Kung, on behalf of the Pasteur Foundation Asia and Eric Berti, Consul General of France, warmly greeted the audience and reminded us that HKU-Pasteur Research Pole has always been a distinctive cornerstone of the scientific collaboration between France and Hong Kong.
Among the guests who attended the party were Keiji Fukuda, Director of the School of Public Health, Suet Yi Leung, Associate Dean for Research of the LKS Faculty of Medicine and Interim Director of the School of Biomedical Sciences, David Foster, Director of the Croucher Foundation, Che-ning Liu, co-head of Global Banking Asia-Pacific at HSBC and Herbert Cheng Jr., Managing Director at Chiaphua Industries Limited.
The HKU-Pasteur team wishes you all the best for these holidays and for the New Year coming!
