Join the Institut Pasteur MOOC on Malaria!

The MOOC “Malaria”, directed by Professor Chetan Chitnis, Head of the Malaria Parasite Biology and Vaccines Unit at Institut Pasteur, is open for registration until 7 December 2020.

The course covers all areas of health, with a specific focus on resource-limited countries. This MOOC, created by the Institut Pasteur in Paris in collaboration with partners involved in clinical trials (Institute of Research for Development, Drugs for Neglected Diseases initiative, etc.), provides the theoretical bases for the clinical investigation and examples of trials in resource-limited countries.

The general objective of this MOOC is to give health professionals, students and researchers the theoretical and practical bases which will allow them to design clinical trials that meet these criteria.

This MOOC is aimed at people interested in malaria and in understanding the complex biology of malaria parasites, how they cause the disease and how one can try to develop new tools including drugs and vaccines to combat it.

To follow this course, you have the choice between two formulas. The DISCOVERY path gives you access to videos, quizzes and exchanges in the forum. Additionally, the QUALIFYING path gives you access to a qualifying exam.
