Post-Doctoral Position at Institut Pasteur Korea - Applied Molecular Virology

Institut Pasteur Korea (IPK), a part of the international Institut Pasteur network, is located in Pangyo Techno Valley in close proximity to Seoul. IPK is a translational research institute connecting excellent academic research for the discovery of new therapies for diseases with high medical needs to pharmaceutical companies. The institute research focuses on cutting edge approaches in cell biology, automated microscopy and computer-aided image analysis to understand disease mechanism. We are seeking enthusiastic, motivated PostDocs/Scientists with excellent communication, planning, organizing, team working, practical, problem-solving and record-keeping skills. The research requires experience in virology and cell biology. Previous experience in drug target identification, hepatitis B or C virus (HBV/HCV) research and knowledge in immunology, endocytosis, protein trafficking is advantageous. The successful candidate will undertake research in a stimulating and interactive scientific environment to identify & characterize drug targets and supervise a PhD student. We expect a strong interest in creative and independent research. Competitive salary will be commensurate with experience.
